Mace of Acrid Death ¡§C Item ¡§C World of Warcraft

It is really an EXCELLENT weapon for Prot Warriors, slow, has parry and mastery, and its a mace, which benefits 2 races (1hand sword does the same, but gnomes cant tank >:D)

Its acceptable for paladins too. Warriors do like parry for Contain the Line, but it doesnt affect item selection much. Youll still wish to have roughly equal amounts of dodge and parry because of the diminishing returns.

On a related point, a warrior tank using Hold the Line to claim priority on pieces like this is, not to put too fine a point onto it, really saying "Give me the loot".

Hold the lines are nice to be certain, but it's in no way a justification to consider gear over a paladin. How would you feel if paladins started claiming priority on Dodge items because "warriors prefer parry"?

It grinds my gears after i see most of these arguments, and Im a WOW Items. This isnt Thottbot, stop posting which class its "better" for.

Yes this is actually the best shield tank weapon. However This is actually the only weapon at lvl 359 which drops from Maloriak. Not one other boss in BOT and BWD and 4 winds drop a pally/warrior tank weapon. Need less to express all shield tanks will prefer it, Our raid combination is really a DK tank and me pally tank, I suppose I'll get it whether it drops,So good luck hunting Maloriak

AlAkir also drops a 359 STR/STA based sword. Given his random suffix assignment, its likely that certain will be a tank suffix. I suppose there havent been enough drops yet to obtain all of the information on it though.

Im not 100% certain the product itself is guaranteed to be STR/STA having a suffix. The one which I saw just happened to be, I guess.

P.S How do you make a link a clickable url about this forum? My slick phpbb tactics are under awesome here.

In older days, before Blood was the dedicated tank tree for Death Knights, this weapon could have been ideal for a Dual Wield Frost Death Knight tank. But, alas this is now. Only idiot Death Knights would make use of this.

"Whats wrong with this" is that its a 1 handed weapon, meaning that the DK would have to dual wield them, and destroy his threat because of that.

I know you believe your $14.99 monthly entitles you to play the way you would like however the remaining raids $359.76 thinks you should know your role.

I am a tank. So, believe me when i state, Im not trolling you, I really need to assist you to. If you are dual-wielding as a blood DK tank, and it is on your side, you have to find another raid, because the DPS in that raid isnt working. Believe me.

Really, dual-wield tanking was fail to start with, but thats another issue. Dont cause me to feel stage an intervention.

I dont really think he believes that death knights can tank with this, but hes just looking back with fond memories

This can be a great weapon for tanks using 1-handers. Ferals may prefer Malevolence and together with DKs may prefer Akirus the Worm-Breaker (but have to deal with DPS roles on their behalf.) Shield tanks may also findmace of acrid death great use in Soul Blade if they have the money to purchase or have the ability to win it in the Bastion of Twilight trash mobs.

Paladin and Warrior tanks alike will benefit from it if upgrading from a blue-quality weapon. Hold the Line is not a free "dibs" call for warrior tanks on items with Parry, any more than it being a mace is really a free "dibs" call for a Human or Dwarf because of their Mace Specialization/Mace Specialization racial abilities. While these classes or races could get a slight little more out of the item, it's still among the best available tank weapons for other shield tanks.

Man up; win the loot having a roll, your WOW Items Gold, or whatever. Dont try to get special therapy based on class or race simply to sate your purple fever. Its a bad way to make friends and build teams. Instead ¡§C congratulate the winner should you lose and move ahead. Maybe theyll are able to settle you for that action in the future.
